Who we are and what this policy covers
Slabworks Epoxy Floors of Waxahachie is a flooring contractor in Waxahachie, TX. We coat, polish, stain and resurface concrete floors for homes and businesses in Waxahachie and the cities around it.
This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, call us or send us a request, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website and the contact you have with us through it. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies.
Information you give us
Most of what we know about you comes from you, usually when you ask for an estimate. That typically includes your name, phone number, email address, the address or city of the property and details about the job, such as the size of the floor, its condition and the finish you're interested in. You might also send photos of your floor.
Our contact form runs on a third-party form service. When you submit it, that service receives what you type and passes it to us, so it handles your information under its own privacy terms as well as ours.
If you call us at (972) 903-8033, we keep notes on what we discussed so we can follow up and give you an accurate estimate.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects some information on its own when you visit. That can include your browser and device type, the pages you viewed, how long you stayed, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your IP address.
We use cookies and similar tools for this. Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site works properly and so we can see, in general terms, how people use our pages. Some come from analytics providers we use to count visits and see which pages help people.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading and contacting us, though some counts and features may not.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to you, schedule a visit, prepare an estimate, do the work you hire us for and handle billing and any follow-up questions about the job.
We use website and cookie data to keep the site working, fix problems and understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to, and if we ever send you anything beyond your own job, you can ask us to stop.
Who we share it with
We share information only when it's needed to run the business or do your job. That includes the companies that host this website, run our contact form and provide our analytics, and any crew member or supplier who needs a job detail to get your floor done.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or the safety of others, or if the business is ever sold or reorganized and the records go with it.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to do the work, honor any guarantee, answer questions about past jobs and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements. When a request never turns into a job, we keep it only as long as it's useful for following up, and then delete it.
Website and analytics data is kept for the periods set by the tools that collect it, and we only look at it in summary form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it if it's wrong and ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we need to keep a record for a legal, tax or warranty reason, and if so we'll tell you why.
Depending on where you live, your state's law may give you other rights, such as getting a copy of your information or opting out of certain uses. We'll honor those rights where they apply, and we won't treat you differently for asking.
To make a request, reach out through our contact page. We may ask you to confirm a few details first so we know we're talking with the right person.
Security and children's privacy
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, and we limit it to the people who need it for your job. No website or email system is completely secure, though, so please don't send passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the contact form.
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or business. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The current version is always the one posted on this page, and if we make a change that matters, we'll make it clear here.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question or a concern about how we handle your information, call us at (972) 903-8033 or send a message through our contact page. We answer the phone Monday through Sunday, 6 AM to 11 PM, and we'll look into it and get back to you.
You can read more about who we are and how we work on our About page.
